Seller Description

This 2007 BMW Z4 M Coupe was purchased by the seller on BaT in October 2022, and its 3.2-liter inline-six has been modified with USS software, European-style headers, and a Supersprint X-pipe and mufflers. Apex 18″ ARC-8 wheels, KW Clubsport coilovers, and a UUC clutch kit and short shifter have also been added along with a lightweight flywheel, an APR carbon-fiber front splitter and rear wing, Sparco DTM RS carbon-fiber seats, and a roll cage. Finished in Black Sapphire Metallic, the car was factory-equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, xenon headlights, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. Registration history includes New York, Washington, and Florida, and the odometer indicates 70k miles. This Z4 M Coupe is now offered with two keys, service receipts, spare wheels and tires, a Carfax report, and a Florida title.

Just 1,815 Z4 M Coupes were produced for the North American market between 2006 and 2008, and this example is one of approximately 592 that were finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475). It has been modified with an APR carbon-fiber front splitter and adjustable rear wing along with RPI intake scoops. Additional features include quadruple exhaust outlets and xenon headlamps with concealed washers. A July 2020 entry on the Carfax report notes an accident with another vehicle that resulted in minor damage to the front of the car, and the seller notes a loose left-front bumper panel.

Polished 18″ Apex ARC-8 wheels are mounted with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. The suspension is modified with TC Kline adjustable rear lower control arms, rear trailing arm bushings, and rear shock mounts as well as Powerflex front control arm bushings and KW Clubsport coilovers with camber plates. The braking system has been equipped with Stoptech braided-steel lines, Hawk track pads, and Motul fluid.

A pair of Sparco DTM RS carbon fiber seats have been mounted over Speedware Motorsports brackets and aluminum side-mounts. The cabin was further modified with Schroth six-point racing harnesses, a UUC short-shift kit with a double-shear selector rod, and a custom roll cage painted in lime green. Additional appointments include automatic climate control, a factory CD stereo, and M-logo metal pedals.

The M-branded steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a 190-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 70k miles, approximately 1,400 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six features individual throttle bodies and VANOS variable valve timing, and the ECU has received ESS Tuning software. A Strong Strut tower brace, Vorshlag polyurethane engine mounts, and a Braille 15-pound battery and mount are in place along with European-style exhaust headers and a Supersprint X-pipe and mufflers.

Power is routed through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A UUC clutch kit is reportedly installed along with a lightweight flywheel, Vorshlag transmission mounts, and a kit to delete the clutch-delay valve.

A spare set of four 18″ BBS wheels and mounted Dunlop tires are included in the sale.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned 2020 accident and lists history in Pennsylvania, New York, Washington, and Florida

There is currently a lien on the vehicle, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
