The E 85/86 M Coupe and Roadster were the last M cars to be built with a naturally-aspirated inline six and only produced in small numbers.
This is a great example of a drivers car, not a garage queen that sits on a charger, it's been well used and very well maintained as the mileage and photos reflect. Ready for whatever: mountain road trip, track event, car show, etc.
Overall condition is very good, some small chips in paint and wheels and some worn exterior rubber as expected on a 10 year old driver. Paint and interior very well maintained, high gloss with no clear-coat issues, no leather or upholstery damage.
All maintenance performed as required during my ownership including:
-oil changes every 7.5 K with T W S 10 W-60 (BMW M spec for S-54) and factory filter
-trans oil (Red Line D 4 per Turner Motorsports recommendation) and diff oil (BMW SAFXJ) flushed every 15 K
-inspection II valve clearance adjustment performed at 100 K mi including replacement of spark plugs, air filter and all related gaskets
-performed 9/2016: oil change, coolant flush, brake flush, passenger window regulator and inspection

-BBS RS-GT Forged 2-piece wheels 18 x 8.5 F/9.5 R with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 235/265
-Fortune Auto MSC1 coil-overs installed 8/15, wide range of height and damping adjustment
-ECS billet adjustable rear camber arms
-Super Flex Poly Street Density rear trailing arm and front control arm bushings
-JVT headers into stock mid-pipe/cats/mufflers
-UUC Evo 3 gearshift with E-46 M 3 Z H P knob
-A K G Poly Street Density transmission mounts
-Blinder HP 905 3-Sensor Laser Jamming (clean hardwired install with under dash control switch)
I have many receipts from my ownership and some from the previous owner who was local in Tampa area. I worked in BMW dealer service for years and have performed a majority of the maintenance and modifications myself. Any other work was performed at Reeves BMW in Tampa.
The only issue presently is the Tire Pressure Monitoring Light
-no T.P.M. sensors fitted in the BBS wheels, I never swapped them from stock wheel set, these stock wheels are available to go with the car.
Clean title, 1 accident, per previous owner rear bumper replaced in 2010 after fender bender indicated in Car Fax /Auto Check. Entire car has been inspected front to back, no structural damage, chassis is 100%.
The car drives and performs as it should, has been very reliable, regularly inspected and maintained by BMW technicians.
