Engine and transmission have not been modified and is very strong and revs very smoothly along the entire rev band. I owned two E46 M3's before this car and can safely say it is the absolute best that BMW had to offer in the 2000's. Stronger and lighter chassis than the E46 with the same engine and CSL brakes. It simply is the ultimate machine they made in the decade. Everything feels like it pivots right around your thighs in the corners. Brakes have a great firm feel (most likely due to my semi-annual brake fluid flushing and braided brake lines). Paint is very clean all around, no large chips. All fluids changed last fall and have spare oil and fluids that I will include. I am selling because my condo doesn't allow parking for a third car and there is no good off-site parking near me. Only put about 7k miles on in 1 1/2 years. Never used it to commute, only road trips and drives on the weekends. Really works well as a GT car, trunk is surprisingly large and can easily fit a weekend's worth of luggage. I mostly explored PCH with the mileage that I put on. The original intention was to own this future classic forever, but I can't bring myself to use it as a commuter car. It would just be a complete waste. The aftermarket wheels shown are cold-forged for strength and weight (21lbs each at 18x9 and 18x9.5). I will include them for $1.5k along with the stock wheels.
