Seller Description

Doug's Take

The BMW Z4 M Coupe is an exciting sports car that boasts the potent S54 6-cylinder engine, which was shared with the desirable E46 M3. It also touts head-turning styling, excellent handling thanks to small sizing and a rear-wheel-drive layout, and a surprisingly practical interior. This Z4 M Coupe comes with a clean, accident-free Carfax report that lists registrations in warm-weather Texas since 2011, which is a nice benefit – and it features a handful of nice modifications, including an Evolve Automotive ECU tune, RPI intake scoop, coated rod bearings, an RPI cat-back exhaust system, BMW aerodynamic kit side skirts, and a ZHP shift knob. This Z4 M is also equipped with the desirable Premium Package – and it's offered by a long-term owner, which adds peace of mind.

Highlights

THIS... is a 2006 BMW Z4 M Coupe, finished in Titanium Silver Metallic with a black interior.

  • The odometer currently indicates approximately 76,300 miles.
  • The attached Carfax history report lists no accidents or mileage discrepancies in this Z4 M Coupe's past. It also lists registration in Texas since 2011.
  • According to the window sticker included in the gallery, factory equipment includes the Premium Package, 18-inch Style 224M wheels, extended Nappa leather upholstery, heated M Sport seats, an M Sport leather multifunction steering wheel, a navigation system, and more as listed below.
  • Modifications reported by the seller include an Evolve Automotive ECU tune, an RPI intake scoop, European-style BMW headers, an RPI cat-back exhaust system, paint protection film on the front bumper, BMW aerodynamic kit side skirts, a ZHP shift knob, AC Schnitzer pedals, and more as detailed below.
  • BMW M released its take on the first-generation Z4 for the 2006 model year. Offered as a coupe (E86) and as a convertible (E85), the M model received a straight-6 engine shared with the M3, a specific exterior design, a hydraulic power steering system (instead of the standard Z4's electric unit), and a firmer suspension system. Production ended in 2008. According to the Z4 M Coupe Buyer's Guide, just 1,815 coupe models were sold in North America from 2006 to 2008.
  • Power comes from a 3.2-liter straight-6, rated at 330 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque in stock form. This engine may be making more power as a result of the modifications, though a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Called S54 internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.

Previous Listing:
2006 BMW M Coupe, one of only 1850 in North America! Accident free. I am the second owner having purchased from the first owner in 2011. Excellent example of this beautiful M Division racer. Just had major maintnence and some paint refresh totaling nearly $15. Have reciepts for this as well. Just had valve adjustment, head gasket, repair gas tank gasket, new front windshield trim, new brake pads, oil change, headlight bulb. All the very expensive required maintenance has been done. New hatch and hood struts replaced. Just had complete detail inside and out by proffesional!Front bumper just resprayed and Expel PPF applied. Rear bumper resprayed as well. Has had coated rod bearings done in the past. RPI Intake scoop and exhaust, clutch stop, P3 Gauge, racing motor and transmission mounts, AC Schnitzer pedals, Euro headers, Evolve tune, OEM Aero Side Skirts, valentine radar hard wired, auxillary port Only issues on the car is paint on the rear roundel is flaking, defect at the very rearmost seam of the headline just under trunk seal, scratch on rear windscreen. Scratch on the top of the rear hatch, some chips in the hood one would expect for this age, and small chip in one of the wheels pictured. Was going to keep care forever, hence the recent work (within the last 6 months) but a growing family makes it difficult
