Based upon the Z4 (E86) chassis, the second-generation BMW M Coupe was launched in 2006 featuring an S54 engine, limited-slip differential, and upgraded brakes borrowed from the E46 M3 along with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard equipment. This 2007 example is one of only 1,815 to have been sold in North America and comes finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a Black Nappa Leather interior with the optional Premium Package, heated front seats, and navigation system. The car had been driven by its first owner and maintained at the original selling dealership up until 2021 when it was acquired by the seller. Having undergone a major service including new brakes and tires, this rare Z4 M Coupe is now being offered for auction out of New Hampshire with just over 55k miles showing on the odometer.
In comparison to a standard Z4, the M Coupe receives a unique bumper design along with a more aggressively sculpted bonnet and quad exhaust outlets. This M Coupe is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic and rides on factory 18” Style 224M wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sport Sport tires mounted within the last 3k miles. The seller notes small dings on the left front fender and lower spoiler, slight fogging of the headlamp lenses, and previous clearcoat correction on the front end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black Nappa Leather interior is accented by brushed aluminum trim and includes optional heated front seats, a navigation system, and Premium Package which adds auto-dimming mirrors, power front seats, the Storage Package, cruise control, BMW Assist with Bluetooth, and Premium Hi-Fi Sound System. An OEM replacement steering wheel was installed by the current owner along with OEM all-season floor mats, a ProClip magnetic phone mount, and a set of sport pedal covers. The accelerator sport pedal has not yet been installed and the top of the shift knob exhibits some wear.
The Z4 M Coupe features an M3-derived 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine with double VANOS variable valve timing and an output of up to 330 HP. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Compared to the standard Z4 model range, the M Coupe receives traditional hydraulic power steering along with a sport-tuned suspension and larger brakes from the M3. Upon the seller’s purchase in 2021, the original selling dealer completed a major service including a new battery, pinion seal, constant pressure valve, windshield wipers, windshield moldings, a wheel alignment, and new brake pads, rotors, and fluid.
The sale will include a clean title.
