This 2007 BMW Z4 M coupe is one of 1,815 examples built for the North American market, and it spent time in California before it was acquired by its current owner on BaT in February 2021. The car is finished in Silver Gray Metallic over black leather upholstery, and power comes from a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Modifications include APEX 18″ wheels, H&R coilovers, aero-style side skirts, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, a Rogue Engineering exhaust system, and a weighted shift knob. Other equipment includes cruise control, power-adjustable seats, a factory CD player, and navigation. This E86 M coupe now has under 55k miles and is offered in Utah by the seller on behalf of its current owner with removed factory parts, manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The car is finished in Silver Gray Metallic (A08), and modifications include “angel eye”-style headlights, black-finished kidney grilles, carbon-fiber mirror caps, aero-style side skirts, and a Skyer Motorsport rear spoiler. The Carfax report lists damage reported as part of a rear-end collision in 2013, and the rear bumper cover was reportedly refinished under previous ownership. The windows have been tinted, and paint protection film has been applied to the front end, though it is lifting in the corners. Other imperfections include nicks on the left-rear quarter panel.
APEX 18″ wheels are finished in black and wear staggered-width Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that have 2014 date codes. The suspension has been modified with H&R coilovers as well as Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts.
The interior features power-adjustable seats with black Nappa leather upholstery, and the color-coordinated carpeting and trim are contrasted by silver accents. Factory equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, an in-dash CD player, and a pop-up navigation screen, while modifications consist of BMW-branded all-weather mats, a ZHP-specification shift knob, AC Schnitzer-logo pedals, and Dynaudio tweeters and mid-range speakers. The seller notes a crack on the right-side speaker housing as well as mismatched fasteners on the battery cover in the trunk.
The multifunction steering wheel with leather trim and tri-color stitching sits ahead of factory instrumentation that includes a 190-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline. The odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the current owner.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was rated at 330 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque when new, and a Turner Motorsport strut brace has been added along with a cross-pipe and Diablo exhaust system from Rogue Engineering. Service in July 2020 included inspecting the VANOS system, adjusting the valves, changing the oil, and replacing the air filter as well as the spark plugs.
