Seller Description

Up for sale is a 2006 BMW Z4 M Coupe in Imola Red over Black Nappa Leather. It is 1 of 204 in Imola Red, and is an even rarer no navigation spec car. Not sure of the numbers of no navi cars, but almost all of the ones I've seen for sale are navi cars.

I bought this car with the intention of replacing my E46 M3, however it is simply too clean and I would feel terrible modifying this car or doing anything to change it from it's original state. As a result, I decided it's best if I just keep my high mileage E46 M3 as I can track and enjoy that guilt free and I'll just let someone else enjoy this thing. I need to purchase a daily (have a big dog now and the e46 isn't really ideal for that) and I won't have space to park this with the addition of a daily, so this is up for sale.

Here are some details about the car.

2006 Z4 M Coupe
Imola Red / Black no navi
Clean title in hand, no accidents or paintwork
77k miles
3 owner car (I am the third, previously resided in TX)
All original, no modifications, never tracked or abused. Previous owners were older gentlemen.

Paint is in great shape minus some minor swirls that can easily be buffed out, 9/10

Interior is in great shape. The drivers seat has a bit of wrinkling, however no rips or cracks or tears, and the wrinkles can be removed easily by a detailer. 8.5-9/10

Mechanically the car is perfect. Car is always properly warmed up. No leaks, engine runs smooth with no strange noises or ticking. Oil temp and coolant temp stays cool and sits right where it should. Car pulls hard as it should. No noises/vibrations from drivetrain, clutch grabs as it should, shifter is smooth with no notchiness or play. Steering is tight and precise with no play. Would not hesitate to drive it across the country. 10/10

Cons: reflector fell off on, I have it, just haven't thrown it on. The windshield trim is missing a piece. Also have this part, just haven't installed.

The car was dealer serviced and maintained, however I was unable to retrieve the records as the dealer in TX would not release them to me. However I presume the dealer did the standard services and inspection I and II. Unsure of whether or not rod bearings have ever been done.

This is an enthusiast owned car. I've owned 10 different M cars over the years so I know what it takes to maintain these things. This is my 4th car with a S54 and so I am well aware of all the pitfalls of the S54 engine. This one is about as nice as they come. I welcome any PPIs to ease any concerns or qualms.

I would like $36k. This is the last price decrease before I fix the minor issues, clean it up and throw it on bringatrailer.

I believe this price is fair given the desirable color and the recent sale price of comparable vehicles on bringatrailer and other sites. These cars are extremely rare (1815) and prices are unlikely to stay this low for long seeing as how E46 M3's in desirable colors such as Imola Red are selling for more in many cases and those are far more mass produced and less special in my opinion. I have a really bad habit of selling my cars way too early before they appreciate significantly (E30 M3, S2000 CR, Elise, etc) so my curse is a blessing to you lol. The car is sitting in a garage with a cover and is just turned on occasionally to keep the fluids running, so miles will not be added. If it doesn't sell within a relatively short time frame, it will be going on bringatrailer, or my e46 will get thrown up instead.

If you have any questions, or would like more pictures or details, please do not hesitate to ask. I will add more pics sometime this week. I have bought and sold tons of cars over the years, and I aim to be as transparent and helpful as possible to ease any concerns.

Please text before calling. I can show the car after 6 on weekdays and anytime on the weekend.

Thanks for reading and please share to anyone who might be interested!
