Here's your chance to own a final production year Z4M coupe, one of only 1815 BMW produced for the North American market. This particular car is one of the final 200 produced and one of only 592 in black sapphire metallic. These cars are exceptionally rare and feature the drivetrain from the E46-generation M3 (including the famous S54 inline six) and a six-speed manual. It is my daily driver, and I would not hesitate to hop in for a long trip.
I am open to trading for a mint-condition Honda S2000.
The good:
- I have recently had BMW Inspection II performed, a major $2100 service that included the following: replacement of the spark plugs and coil packs, new transmission, engine, and differential oil, and a valve adjustment. I have also had a Blackstone oil analysis performed.
-The interior is in excellent shape.
-The car has received new emblems, new brake pads, a new shift knob, and BMW all-weather floor mats.
-The car wears 2019-year tires, has new brakes, and I recently completed a brake fluid flush, along with new engine coolant.
-The car has heated seats, a navigation system, and an auxiliary port.
-I have several years' worth of maintenance receipts that will accompany the car.
To note:
-The right rear wheel bears curb markings (see photo)
-There is a small scratch on the hood (see photo)
-There is transmission backlash at low speeds. My mechanic says there is nothing wrong and that this is typical of Z4Ms, but of note to the purchaser
-My mechanic has noted small oil leaks in the engine. The car does not leak while stationary
-Rod bearings and VANOS are original, to my knowledge
-Driver's side cup holder does not extend from dash
-My mechanic initially suggested replacing the differential pinion seal, but changed his mind upon second look. No need to swap the part, but worth noting.
