This 2007 BMW Z4 M Coupe is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over black leather and powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes xenon headlights, heated and power-adjustable sport seats, Stromung mufflers, a Bilstein B12 suspension kit, a weighted shift knob, and refinished Style 224 wheels. The car has spent time in Texas and Missouri where it was acquired by the seller in 2018. The VANOS system has been overhauled and the rod bearings replaced, while more recent work in July 2021 included a PPI and an oil change. This E86 M Coupe has 135k miles and is offered at no reserve by the seller with service records, manufacturer’s literature, a Blackstone oil analysis, a Carfax report, and a clean Missouri title in the names of the seller and his wife.
The body is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) and features black-finished kidney grilles, xenon headlamps with concealed washers, M badging, and quad-exit exhaust outlets. The Carfax report indicates damage to the front and rear of the vehicle in 2016, and the seller states that the front grille and front and rear bumpers were replaced during prior ownership. A Stubby antenna has been installed, and aftermarket tint has been applied to the windows. Finish flaws captured in the gallery include chips, scratches, a dent on the left front fender, scrapes on the bottom of the front bumper, and spider web cracking on the rear bumper.
Factory 18″ Style 224 wheels have been refinished in gunmetal and bronze and are mounted with Continental ContiSportContact tires sized 225/45 up front and 255/40 out back. Dynamic Stability Control came standard for the Z4 M, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled and vented rotors. Bilstein B12 suspension components were installed in 2019, at which time the tie rod assemblies were replaced. The seller notes that the TPMS sensors have been disabled.
The cabin is upholstered in extended black Nappa leather and features heated and power-adjustable sport seats with position-memory for the driver. A ZHP weighted shift knob has been added, and additional amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and locks, an on-board computer, and a factory CD stereo. The factory shifter is included in the sale.
A three-spoke M Sport multifunction steering wheel frames a 190-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer with a variable redline, and a digital odometer that shows 135k miles, approximately 7k of which were added by the seller.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six produced 330 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque when new. The VANOS system was overhauled at 128k miles by Kinetic Motors of St. Louis, Missouri using a Dr. Vanos kit, including replacement of the oil pump disc and seals as well as upgraded oil supply line and upper chain guide. WPC coated rod bearings were also installed, along with Stromung mufflers and an aFe air intake with a powder coated shroud. An oil change was performed in July 2021, and results from a PPI and Blackstone oil analysis are provided in the gallery, along with receipts from some of the work.
