The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six has been modified with a ESS Tuning kit that includes a Vortech VT1-455 supercharger, and output is quoted by ESS Tuning to be rated at approximately 450 horsepower with 310 lb-ft of torque. A Strömung exhaust system and a three-piece strut brace have also been installed. The VANOS unit was rebuilt and a valve adjustment performed in June 2017, the spark plugs were replaced and an oil change was carried out in May 2020, and a new air conditioning compressor was fitted two months later. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The differential fluid was changed in May 2018.
