This 2007 BMW Z4 M Coupe is one of 1,815 examples built for the North American market from 2006 to 2008, all of which were powered by a 3.2-liter S54 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller acquired the car from its first registered owner in 2012, and has since added approximately 17k of the 42k miles it now has. Finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a black leather, the car is equipped with 18″ ZCP-style wheels, Bilstein shocks, automatic climate control, power-adjustable and heated sport seats, xenon headlights, and a CD stereo. Maintenance reportedly included biennial brake fluid and coolant flushes as well as annual oil changes by the seller. This E86 M Coupe is now offered with its removed factory wheels, factory literature, a maintenance log, partial records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic, and equipment includes quad exhaust outlets and xenon headlights with a washing system. The seller states that the front bumper cover was refinished, and notes a scuff in the front paint protection film as well as scratch on the rear fascia. The paintwork is shown up close in the photo gallery below.
Staggered-width 18″ ZCP-style wheels wear 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that show 2012 and 2014 date codes, respectively. Bilstein shocks have been installed along with Akebono brake pads. The seller states that brake fluid flushes have been performed every two years during their ownership, along with annual alignments.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable sport seats with black Nappa leather upholstery, while carbon-look leather trim accents the dashboard and center console. Additional amenities include automatic climate control and a CD stereo.
The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of an M-branded 190-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 17k of which were added by the seller over the previous eight years.
The seller modified the battery cover to allow for storage of a spare wheel and tire.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was rated for 330 horsepower with 262 lb-ft of torque. The seller performed their own maintenance on the car and reports that the coolant was flushed every two years and the oil was changed annually. A maintenance log will accompany the car.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The removed factory 18″ Style 224 wheels are mounted with Continental tires and will be included with the car. Factory manuals, brochures, partial records, and the factory battery cover will also accompany the sale as shown in the gallery.
The July 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other issues and lists history in Illinois and Ohio from two registered owners through its most recent entry in October 2019.
