Up for sale is my 2006 BMW Z4 M Coupe showing just over 15k miles, 1,800 of which I added over the course of 18 months. Power is from a 3.2L S54 inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The vehicle is offered with service records under my ownership, factory books and manuals, complete set of keys, custom Dustop car cover from Covercraft, and a clean California title. The vehicle is 100% stock with no performance upgrades or modifications.
Ownership History
I acquired the car from a dealership in Maryland and had it shipped to southern California, but the car resided in Texas for most of its life. The documentation I have of prior owners suggest the car was first owned by a doctor out of Brownwood, TX followed by his adult son, making me the third owner.
Exterior/Interior
The car is finished in Silver Gray Metallic over Imola Red Nappa leather, making it 1of 32 produced in this color combination. The front bumper was re-painted by a reputable shop to address stone chips and fill in the license plate holes. Some stone chips are present, but overall the condition of the exterior is excellent and free of any dings. My detailer recently performed a Stage 1 paint polish and applied a 1 year sealant.
The interior is trimmed in Madeira Walnut Wood Trim, which I was never a fan of but it looks better in person and makes the vehicle 1 of 1 in this color configuration. The vehicle is desirably equipped with the Premium Package and navigation delete. The interior is well preserved with no visible wear areas.
Maintenance
The car is fully sorted and ready for the next owner to enjoy. Recent maintenance/repairs include:
- Oil change on 6/22/2018
- Repaired auto-dimming mirror on 11/27/2019 (opted for repair vs. replacement to avoid future leaks)
- Valve Adjustment on 1/14/2019
- Replace high-pressure power steering line on 1/14/2019
