Seller Description

This 2007 BMW M Coupe is one of 32 examples finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over Dark Sepang Brown, and 1,185 total Z4Ms produced for the North American market. The car spent time in Texas before it was acquired by the seller and driven to Georgia in August 2017. Power is supplied by an S54 inline-six coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, and the car is reported to remain stock apart from the deletion of the clutch delay valve. Recent servicing in May included a valve adjustment, new cover gasket and tube seals, and an inspection of the VANOS bolts and hubs. Now showing just over 68k miles, this Z4M Coupe is being offered for sale with records from the seller and prior owner, a maintenance spreadsheet, a Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name.

Black Sapphire Metallic paint is pictured up-close and from a number of angles in the gallery below. The included Carfax report lists damage to the rear and left side in 2017, which the seller states was caused by tools that fell off a landscaping truck. Paint on the driver-side door and rear quarter panel was refinished, and an invoice from the work is included and viewable below.

Z4 M Coupes were equipped with unique front and rear fascias, dual twin-tip exhausts, and inset black kidney grilles. The seller notes a chip in the tint on the rear hatch glass as well as a split in the rear quarter window rubber.

18” split-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in Yokohama tires with date codes from 2009 up front and 2013 out back. New front brake rotors and pads were installed in November.

The interior is trimmed in Dark Sepang Brown leather with gray carpets and aluminum accents. Powered and heated seats feature embossed M logos in the headrests, and some wear is noted on the driver’s outer bolster. Just over 68k miles are indicated on the odometer, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller during his year of ownership.

The 3.2L S54 inline-six and 6-speed manual transmission were shared with the E46 M3 and carried factory-ratings of 330 horsepower at 7,900 rpm and 262 lb-ft of torque at 4,900 rpm when new. A previous owner deleted the clutch delay valve. A valve adjustment and replacement of the cover gasket and tube seals was performed in May, and the VANOS bolts and hubs were inspected at this time. New engine mounts were installed in December 2017, and the spark plugs, serpentine belt, A/C belt, and power steering pressure hose were replaced in September.

Additional lift photos are viewable in the gallery.

Service records from the seller and prior owner are included, and a spreadsheet of maintenance is viewable below.

The Carfax report lists a damage report in July 2017 and shows history in Texas prior to the seller’s purchase last year.
