Seller Description

With sadness I am putting up for sale my Z4 m coupe track day car, at the request of my wife.  I have not had the opportunity to drive this awesome car much lately so here we go.  I do not need to sell this car urgently, and while reasonable offers will be considered, please don’t bother with any lowball offers.  Car is stored covered on a garage lift.  Note this is a stripped track car and NOT for street use.  No A/C, no stereo, side door windows are replaced with removable lexan inserts.  This has been a great reliable HPDE track day car with no drama.  Change the oil, flush the brakes, put on fresh rubber and go.  The major build was performed by Harrison Motorsports and the Vanos rebuild was done just 1K miles ago by Markert Motorwerks in Atlanta (see pics of super clean top end torn down for rebuild).

If you are looking at this car then you probably know this is a great chassis and drivetrain for the track.  As just a decent driver, I can turn a Road Atlanta lap in this car at 1:39.4 as a benchmark for what this car is capable of.  A real racer could go significantly faster.

I have over $45K invested on the build of this coupe after purchase.  I purchased the M coupe at 18605 miles used from Motorcars of Georgia in 2010, as the second owner of the car.  I had the car stripped for track duty only in Nov 2012 at 22K miles.  The key features are:

-ESS tuned stock s54 original motor.  Dr. Vanos cryogenic disk/rebuild done at 26506 miles.
-Custom 6pt roll cage
-Recaro SPG Hans racer driver’s and Corbeau passenger, both on custom sliders (my wife also drove this car at a few events).  Corbeau 5pt quick release harnesses.
-Alcon 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brakes calipers (Have several sets of unused pads Hawk DTC70 front and DTC60 rear to go with car, quick change setup is nice for the track).  SS brake line upgrade
-UUC short shifter kit
-Motorsport diff swap 3.91 by Koala
-Custom cat delete magnaflow exhaust system with Evosport headers
-Full TC Kline coilover suspension set-up with front and rear sway bars
-Six x Enkei rpf01 18x8.5 et40 rims with 255 Hoosier R7’s mounted.  All 6 Hoosier slicks have 1 track weekend on them (I rotate) from the bmw cca road atlanta event and are stored in climate controlled space.   Car sits on stock M rims shown in pictures with PSS street tires (track rain tires) when in storage.
-Momo alcantara leather flat bottom quick release steering wheel
-GTC z4m wing and splitter by APR.
-BT and gps telemetry devices.

The car has no accidents, but certainly some rock chips on the front bumper cover and small non-filled pits in the windshield that are expected for a track car.  There is also some rub rash on the left front bumper and left headlight cover which still functions normally.  Rear bumper has a small 1 inch ding from the tow hook of a Porsche rolling into me on the cold pits (see pics).  The door paint has some metal stains from my magnetic numbers.  Other than the cosmetic defects mentioned the paint is in great shape over the rest of the body with no sun damage.
