Price is OBO and I am very motivated to sell, though I know what these cars are worth so please do not waste my time with low-ball offers. I will consider partial trades for a E46 330 ZHP (coupe or sedan), E39 540i M-sport, E39 M5, 335i M-sport (coupe or sedan). Whatever it is, it has to be manual. I will entertain similar car trades from other brands.
Up for sale is my 2006 Z4 M Coupe. I love this car to death, but I am going back to school again this fall and need to get into something a bit more practical and financially responsible. I have owned this car since March of 2015 and was looking for a M Coupe for almost a year before purchasing this one with 77,500 miles on the odometer. Since then I have daily driven it mainly between Vancouver and Portland, with no history of the car ever being on the track. Heres some information about the about this particular Z4 M Coupe...
For those who don't know, the Z4 M coupe was sold by BMW between 2006 and 2008. The car has the S54 from the E46 M3 making 333 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque at the crank. The M coupe has a curb weight of 3,200 lbs and will hit 60mph in under 5 seconds. Even with the mileage, this particular M coupe feels like it can still make that sub 5 second sprint. The North America production numbers for the car come to a total of 1,815 cars over the production span of the vehicle. 592 of those were produced in Sapphire Black Metallic.
Options: This car is finished in BMW's Black Sapphire Metallic paint (black with blue flake) with the black leather interior and stitched carbon trim. There were not many factory options for this car, but this one is fully optioned with the exception of navigation (I wanted one without the nav screen as I feel it ages the interior) and extended leather. The car DOES have heated power/memory seats and the premium 12 speaker Hi-Fi sound system with iPod connectivity.
Modifications: The car was bone stock when I purchased it and I have added a few tasteful modifications that have improved the car where I felt it was needed.
-RPI Exhaust-$995 (I will include the stock exhaust with the car)
-Rogue Engineering transmission mounts-$60
-OEM BMW weighted 6 speed ZHP shift Knob-$60
-Zeckhaussen clutch delay valve delete-$50
-Leather Z LED license plate lights-$40
-25% tint from Solar Eclipse with lifetime warranty that goes with the car-$200
Maintenance: I am an employee at BMW Portland, so all parts installed on the car have been OEM, and the car has only been worked on by choice technicians at the dealership. This car is in mechanically perfect shape and I have been extremely particular about keeping it that way. I will supply all repair orders for all the work done to the car.
My scheduled maintenance for the past two and a half years looks like this:
-Oil Service with Synthetic BMW M-specific 10W-60 every 12,500 miles. (Interval is 15,000)
-Michelin Pilot Super Sports (fronts every 20,000 miles, rears every 15,000-18,000 miles) Rears were replaced 2 weeks ago, and fronts have about 60-70% tread life left.
-Engine air filter and cabin air filter once a year.
-Coolant/brake/trans/diff fluid flush every two years.
-Moderate interior detail with wax re-coating every 3 months.
-Full seats out interior detail with clay, polish, paint correction, and re-wax every 6 months.
Non-maintenance items that have been fixed/replaced within the past 2.5 years:
-Spark plugs and coils
-AC Recharge
-VANOS unit replaced
-Cooling system refresh (Pump, hoses, pulley)
-Front power Steering lines
-Constant oil pressure valve
-Valve cover gasket
-Valve adjustment
-Passenger side window regulator
-Driver side sliding cupholder
I will be available to show the car most weekends. Must have cash in hand/pre-approval for an auto loan/proof of funds and a proof of insurance to test drive the car. If you live in Portland you can meet me at the BMW dealership to look at the car on weekdays. I still owe a small amount on the car through IQ credit union. If you decide to purchase the car, we can make arrangements to take care of the title through them. It should be a easy and painless process.
